Welcome to EquusPhotos new website! isn’t it pretty?! Thanks so much to Olivia Robertson for helping to create it..
So winter means fluffy muddy ponies and rain, lots of it…so some see it as the worst possible time of year for a photoshoot, but I promise you its not! Not only do my prices go down in winter but there is just something so beautiful about autumn leaves on the floor and a colourful sky that help give another dimension to your photos. A clipped horse looks so stylish in photos too, although I advice leaving it a week or two after a new clip so it has time to blend in to the horses coat….Whilst there is always the chance of rain no matter what the news says, i keep an eye on the weather right up to leaving for your photoshoots and if it looks like its going to be a wash out I’m very happy to rearrange!
However I can’t argue with being a bit quieter in winter when it lets me put more time (and money) into my 5yr old pride and joy Maxi!! He is a key member of EquusPhoto despite never standing still away from me long enough for nice pictures! He likes to keep me company when I’m sorting my diary and editing pictures and is always sure to dribble on the important note I’ve written down that I wasn’t mean to forget!
I am also taking the time to brush up on my photoshop skills, retouching old photos and generally having a play with the features Im not as confident with, although my editing and photo style stays relatively similar its always good to learn new things and already this winter I’m far more confident with removing mud and stains from photos just to make them look a little more classy.
I hope you all enjoy having a wonder round the new site and I hope to see some of you at some photoshoots throughout winter and 2017!
